Magnesite Chrome Brick
The chrome brick is a refractory product with main chemical components of magnesia (MgO) and chromium(III) oxide (Cr2O3), and main mineral components of periclase and spinel. There are also fused cast magnesite chrome bricks made by melting magnesium chromium materials with an electric arc furnace followed by direct casting (see figure for microstructure, see pictures), and rebonded magnesia-chrome bricks made from fusing magnesium chromium materials, etc.
